Beautiful spot to stay. Gorgeous design throughout the whole bed and breakfast. Lots of places to get cozy as well as things to do. The breakfast was lovely as they gave us quite a few options to choose from. The animals were a cool little touch to it. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you guys!

We had a lovely time at Woodside country inn. The old farmhouse is so beautifully restored and the fireplace in our room made it extra cozy. We enjoyed walking down to the ocean and sipping our coffee in the hot tub in the morning. The owners were very friendly and even let us pet the goats! Breakfast was basic but just fine. Would definitely return again :)

Very enjoyable farm with friendly animals and staff. Didn’t need to contact Joshua once. Bed was extremely comfortable. Washroom was very clean. Breakfast was well worth it. Didn’t get to use all of the farm amenities due to short timing but would definitely come back.

It was very comfortable and clean! It is a lovely B & B with a library for reading with comfy chairs as well as a large living room with a tv and a dining room. You are on a farm/orchard with small animals which is very nice. Also teas, coffee and sparkling water available to help yourself to in the dining room. The breakfast was nice to have included and while continental there was lots of choice! The signage out front could be larger. We missed it a couple times and in the dark it would be hard to see. Google Maps sent us to the actual farm stand which is about a hundred metres from the driveway. A light (maybe solar) over the sign would help!

My husband and I rented Joshua’s space for a second time. We bring our adult children and our grandbabies. It is a magical spot … the house is beautifully appointed, the house is large and accommodating, the fields and farm road are perfect for safe biking, the beach is great for exploring, and the farm animals are delightful! We will definitely book again next January. Thank you for a second wonderful adventure in Sooke.

This was the perfect cottage getaway! It had everything we wanted for this trip, secluded, spacious, beautiful surroundings with the beach a short walk away from the house. The house and its set up felt intentional and every room had a purpose. Our friends made use of very room and we enjoyed getting to use every communal space. The hot tub was lovely and the amenities downstairs were great! Joshua was responsive and friendly and even provided a welcome Apple juice straight from their farm, which was a nice touch. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, clean, and very spacious! We enjoyed the amenities...especially the ping pong table, hot tub, game closet and dart board. The area is peaceful! We had fun walking to the beach and to the farm to see all of the animals. It felt like a real vacation! Joshua was very easy to work with and very responsive!

A much needed respite at this location: the house felt much bigger than it looked and we all had many rooms and locations to share that made it feel like we had different experiences without leaving. Cloud and bird watching from the windows was lovely. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

Joshua's beach house was the perfect getaway. It was secluded, out of the way, beautiful, and so much fun. We explored the Sooke area and found local restaurants that were fantastic. The house was immaculate and was perfect for our stay. We would gladly stay in the Beach House again!
