We had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, clean, and very spacious! We enjoyed the amenities...especially the ping pong table, hot tub, game closet and dart board. The area is peaceful! We had fun walking to the beach and to the farm to see all of the animals. It felt like a real vacation! Joshua was very easy to work with and very responsive!

A much needed respite at this location: the house felt much bigger than it looked and we all had many rooms and locations to share that made it feel like we had different experiences without leaving. Cloud and bird watching from the windows was lovely. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

Joshua's beach house was the perfect getaway. It was secluded, out of the way, beautiful, and so much fun. We explored the Sooke area and found local restaurants that were fantastic. The house was immaculate and was perfect for our stay. We would gladly stay in the Beach House again!

It was a beautiful, serene setting. The inn was elegant while warm and inviting. The animals were fun to visit. The staff were lovely. It was exceptional. We loved it all.

Honestly I don’t know if you could find a better place for a family vacation in quiet place. We had 2 families on our trip and we had tons of room. It was peaceful, and idyllic. Would recommend anytime.

What a gem this homestead inn is. So private, relaxing and loved being near the animals on the farm. The private beach access was wonderful also. Can’t wait to come back!

The comfort, cleanliness and uniqueness. Only thing I could find that I didn’t like but truly can’t complain about is the front gate opening and closing when coming and going.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and informative. The location was excellent. The hot tub and farm animals were unique, memorable and pleasant. I would have liked to stay longer.

Wow… where do I start? Absolutely gorgeous location, the inn is lovely, all the rooms are beautiful. The bedding was so soft and the bed huge, I didn’t want to get out of it! The breakfast was phenomenal, they made us fresh farm eggs and everything was simple fare from the farm. Free hot/cold drinks all day too.
The farm was really fun for the little one and was nice to visit the private beach. We had some time in the hot tub in the evening and lounging on the deck. It was above budget for us and was definitely a splurge but it was completely worth it. Nothing

It was the perfect place for a 3 young families with kids aged 5 and below. The house was beautiful and allowed us all to relax and unwind, the farm with the animals and playboat were perfect for the kids and beach was idyllic. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer. We're already planning our next visit! Thank you to Joshua and co-hosts.
